Klaas é�a�A"Kené�a�� Wynsma, age 85, of Coopersville, was called home to his Lord and Saviour Thursday, August 4, 2016. He was born in Rijtsem, Netherlands to the late Klaas and Treintje (Holwerda) Wynsma. Ken was a member of the Gideons, worked as an Insurance Agent in Grand Rapids for ANICO Insurance Co., was a missionary to the Netherlands for 4 yrs. and worked as a Jail Chaplin in Ottawa Co. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Anita Wynsma (Hopstaken); 4 children, Kenneth (Renee) Wynsma, Lorie (James) Riley, Linda (Rich) Karnes and David (Elizabeth) Wynsma; 8 grandchildren, Jamie, Rebecca, Lisa, Abbie, Victoria, Alex, Jacob and Landen; 3 great grandchildren, Levi, Cole and Kye; sister Fettie Wynsma and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Ken was preceded in death by his grandson Eric John Wynsma, brothers and sisters, Jan, Sjoukje, Alie, Sjouke, Hans, Maaike, Harm and Folkert. Cremation has taken place a memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday at Ottawa Center Chapel, 8991 Leonard Rd, Coopersville with Rev Robert Porterfield officiating. Interment will be in Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Memorial donations to Gideons International, Grand Valley Camp, P.O. Box 336, Allendale, MI 49401.
