Kenneth Bentley

Kenneth Ross Bentley, age 76, passed away Monday, Nov 4, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Ravenna, MI. to Lawrence and Martha (Braspenning) Bentley. Ken served in Korea with the US Army and retired from the Muskegon County Sheriffé�a�a��s Dept. after 42years of service where he headed up the detective bureau. Ken was preceded in death by his mother Martha, brother Richard and sister Lorraine é�a�A"Joé�a�� Brott. He is survived by his father Lawrence Bentley; two daughters Carrie (Tony) Wozny and Jeannine Bentley; two grandchildren Drew Wozny and Lea Wozny; siblings Carol Juntunen, Stephen Bentley, Stephanie (Pat) Lawrence, Donna Levendowski and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, Nov 9, 2013, at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, 49404. Relatives and friends may meet the family Saturday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
