Kathlyn Oosse

Kathlyn Faye (Worst) Oosse, age 82, of Jenison, formerly of Coopersville, dear child of God and faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother entered Glory on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. Kathy had a very special place in her heart for children. She enjoyed birds, flowers, insects, and anything to do with God’s wonderful creation. She leaves behind her husband of 62 years, William John Oosse; her children, Cynthia Peterson, William J. (Sandra) Oosse, Jacquelyn Boltz, Denise Colley, and Calvin Oosse; her 8 grand-children, Christopher, Elizabeth, and Zachary (Amy) Peterson, Anthony (Ashley) Lemmen, Alexandra and Michelle Oosse, Freesia (AJ) Pierce and Solomon Colley; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, Bernard (Rena) Worst; sister, Flo (David) Ronda; brother-in-law, Russell Oosse; several nieces and nephews. Also left behind are her wonderful church family at Lamont Community Church and her friends at Waterford Place in Jenison. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jeffrey Peterson. In keeping with her wish a private family service was held with interment in Maplewood Cemetery at Lamont. Her family thanks the Metro Hospital staff and Faith Hospice for their loving care.
