Kathleen Mead

Kathleen é�a�A"Kathyé�a�� Mead, age 55, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother Rose Holtzlander, Dec 16, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Patricia Mead; father-in-law, Ed Mead; brother-in-law, Dave Stanton; aunts, Donna, Maybelle, Eileen, Ellen and Murtie and two uncles, Harry and Charles é�a�A"Punké�a��. Kathy was active as a volunteer at Coopersville Schools for many years as her children grew up. She did daycare from her home later in life and watched several children form the Coopersville area. She enjoyed helping her husband Jerry with activities at the Coopersville VFW Post, enjoyed shopping and was always seeking out bargains and clipping coupons. She love to play board games with her family and friends, sequence being one of her favorites and she also enjoyed playing free cell on her computer, she never lost a game. If anyone needed assistance she could be called upon to assist in any way she could. Kathy is survived by her husband of 35 years Jerry; children Jerry Jr. (Amber) Mead, Justin (Monti) Mead and Jenna Mead; grandchildren, McKenzleigh, Dylan and Dustyn; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Deb Stanton, Janet Hoogewind, Mike (Mary) Mead, Steve Mead, Tim Mead, Mary Jo (Keith) Vanderlaan; uncles and aunts, Howard (Sharon) Ramsey, Ralph (Marva) Ramsey, Sandy (Joe) Bott, Cless (Pat) Ramsey, Yvonne Cornell, Debra (Ed) Cook, Rick (Bonnie) Koehn, Rhonda Ramsey, Dan (Emma) Gavin and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be Friday 11 am at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with burial in Coopersville cemetery. Visitation Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Friday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
