Justin M. Brown, age 39, of Grand Rapids, formerly of Conklin, passed away Saturday Oct 13, 2018. Justin was a 1997 graduate of Coopersville High School and is a U.S. Navy veteran who served honorably and with steadfast dedication for 10 years as an Avionics Technician, while stationed at Lemoore Naval Air Station and deployed on the USS Nimitz in support of joint operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Upon his discharge, Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Grand Valley State University and was employed as a project manager at Integrated Packaging Machinery in Rockford. He was a talented artist and an accomplished musician who enjoyed the solitude of spending time in the outdoors yet the excitement of the city. Justin will be deeply missed by his parents Gary and Sheila (Link) Brown; brothers, Nate (Wife Angelique) Brown and Chad Brown; nephews, Ethan and Dillon Brown; many aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. A Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held at noon Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville MI. 49404 with Fr. Fred Brucker Celebrant. Relatives and friends may meet the family Friday 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville.
