Joyce Shaffer

Joyce Ann Shaffer, age 69, passed away Monday, December 27, 2021. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Charles and Thelma (Rosenberry) Reynolds. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her siblings Kenny Reynolds, Dale Reynolds, Jim Reynolds and Bonnie Deimel, nephew Jeff Maynard. Joyce enjoyed spending time with family, loved to have a strawberry daiquiri and orange crush pop. She took many trips to the casino with friends and family, liked to watch CSI on T.V. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Keri (Chris) Kalish; granddaughter, Kennedy Kalish; sister, Cheryl Crews; brother, David (Patti) Reynolds; sister-in-law, Julie Reynolds; special cousin June Brown and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Becky and Charlotte also the entire staff at Vista Springs Assisted Living for the care they provided. Burial will take place in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404.
