Joseph Toogood

Toogood Mr Joseph F. Toogood aged 59, of Coopersville passed away Wednesday July 14, 2010. He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Doris Toogood and granddaughter Emma Biermacher. Joe served as Fire Chief and was a member of the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Fire Dept. for many years and was employed by the city of Grand Rapids as a Personal Property Assessor. He is survived by his wife Bonnie; sons Matt (Dawn) Biermacher, and Joe (Christy) Biermacher; five grandchildren Courtney, Chase, Maxwell, Grace and Benjamin; sister Judy (Don) Knutson; brothers Jerry (Denise) Toogood, and Tom (Karen) Toogood; mother-in-law Helen Rendon; brother-in-law Bruce (Daire) Rendon: sisters-in-law Brenda Michael, and Marcia (Randy) Clark; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday 11:00 am at St Michaels Catholic Church, 17151 88th Ave, Coopersville MI. Fr Norm Droski Celebrant. Burial in St Michaels Catholic Cemetery, Coopersville. Visitation will be held Sunday at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm.
