Joseph "Ernie" Vadas

Joseph Ernest Vadas, age 85, of Coopersville, passed away Friday, February 16, 2024. He was born in Homestead, PA to the late Stephen and Helen (Sariscak) Vadas. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Lynn Ann Vadas and sister-in-law Bernice Vadas. Ernie was an active member of the Coopersville Sportsman club, enjoyed fishing and was very active with Grand Valley State University and the Coopersville Broncos Football. Ernie will be deeply missed by his wife of 63 years Pat Vadas; children, Keith (Jody) Vadas, Linda (Brad) Stretton; John Vadas and fiancé Susan VanWasshnova; 6 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brother Stephen Vadas; brothers-in-law, Richard (Kathy) Facchiano, David Facchiano and Carolyn Kubea and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. A Life Celebration Gathering will be held April 20, 2024, Saturday, from 12 Noon to 4:00 P.M. at the Coopersville VFW Post 5598, 511 68th Ave N, Coopersville, MI 49404.  Memorial Donations may be made to Lori's Voice P.O.
