John W. Stream, aged 69, went home to his Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 7, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. John was a very honorable, reliable and strong-willed man who will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him. He enjoyed snowmobiling, bass fishing, ice fishing, golfing and spending time with his family and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Eileen Stream, father-in-law, Joe Jager, brother-in-law, Wallace Bernhardt and niece, Tracy Stream. John is the beloved husband of LaRae; loving father to Bradley (Colleen) and Michael (Lori) and devoted grandfather to Rebeka, Adam, Lanie and Ethan. He is survived by brothers, Stephen (Ruthann) and Thomas (Rosanne) Stream; step-mother, Nathalie (Bidstrup) Stream; step-brothers, John, Steven and the late Mark Bidstrup; mother-in-law, Doris Jager; sisters-in-law, Marcia Bernhardt, Jeanie (Ronald) DeLeeuw and several nieces and nephews. John, LaRae and their family have a very special forty-year friendship with Richard and Nancy Klein and their children David (Michelle), Barry (Patricia), Eric (Jenifer) and their families. A memorial service will be held at Mamrelund Lutheran Church, 4085 Lutheran Church Rd, Kent City, on Saturday, March 16 at 11:00am, the Rev. Leonard Dahlgren officiating. Visitation at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, Friday, March 15 4pm to 8pm and Saturday one hour prior to the service at church.
