He attended Rockford High School and was a graduate of the class of 1968. John loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed his years of semi-truck driving and his younger years as a scuba diving instructor. He had a love of scuba diving, boating, fishing, horseback riding and took family trips from Florida to Canada. John never knew a stranger, he loved meeting new people and was always ready to share a story or a joke. Dealing with health challenges over the past few years, John faced his adversity with faith and fortitude. We were blessed to have him in our lives. He surely resides in heaven and in our hearts.
