He was a member of the Marne American Legion Post and longtime member of St Michael's Catholic Church in Coopersville. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 69 years Rose; children, Linda (Pete) Englert, Larry Vargo, Ron Vargo, Nancy (Daniel) Wozniak and Rose (Bob) Beach; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister-in-law Virginia Moser; many nieces and nephews and his special friend Dan Hudelson.
