Joan Bartlette

Joan E. Bartlette, age 84, of Wyoming, MI. formerly of Coopersville, was called to Heaven, Wednesday, October 14, 2015. Joan was born in Cadillac, MI. to the late Oscar and Gertrude (Riplo) Carlson and was preceded in death by her husband Chester Bartlette Dec. 6, 2014. Joan enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, crocheting and had a love for the outdoors. She was a longtime member of the Coopersville Bible Church. Joan is survived by her children, Chester Jr (Charlotte) Bartlette, Bill (Jill) Bartlette, and Tim Bartlette; five grandchildren, Chester III (Valerie) Bartlette, Theodore (Alison) Bartlette, Allie (Omar) Gonzales, Seth (Shawnta) Bartlette, Matt Bartlette and friend Jaylyn Greene; five great grandchildren, Trison, Evan, Aero, Jolene and Kal; three siblings, Mary Phillips Charles Carlson and Carol Carlson; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Monday, 12 noon at the Coopersville Bible Church, 35 Hillcrest St, Coopersville, 49404, with Rev. Joel McGarvey officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Memorial Park, Grand Rapids. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday one hour prior to the service at church.
