Jennie Finkler

Jennie Finkler, age 93, passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 with family at her side. Jennie was born July 20, 1920 in Stamford New York to Anthony and Angeline Bono. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl J. Finkler on April 16, 2010 and her son Charles J. Finkler on April 14, 2010. Jennie was a very active longtime member of St Maryé�a�a��s Catholic Church in Marne. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Carl after their retirement, wintering in Florida and traveled to Hawaii and Alaska visiting all but two of the 50 states. Jennie owned and operated a floral design shop from her home and did floral designs for many weddings. She would always light up a room with her sense of humor and laughter. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren, was a wonderful cook and loved family gatherings where she would cook her famous spaghetti sauce and spaghetti for the family to enjoy. She also enjoyed dancing, playing cards and time spent at the cottage and fishing with her family at the lake. Jennie will be deeply missed by her daughter Patricia (Eugene) LeMieux; son David (Claudia) Finkler; 13 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Annabelle and several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday 1:00 PM at St Maryé�a�a��s Catholic Church, with Fr David Gross Celebrant. Burial in St Maryé�a�a��s Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm a the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with Rosary Prayers at 7:30 pm and Thursday from 12 noon to 1 pm at St Maryé�a�a��s Church in Marne. Memorial donations may be made to St Maryé�a�a��s Catholic Church or Heartland Hospice.
