Jean Sikes

Jean Ann Sikes, age 60, of Coopersville, passed away at home with her husband Jim by her side. Jean was born in Grand Rapids, MI to Alvin and Marcy (Shephard) Velting who preceded her in death. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family and camping. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 40 yrs James; sons, Anthony (Yvonne) Sikes and Matthew (Kimberly) Sikes; granddaughter Shelby; siblings Richard, Mike, Billy, Mary, Sue and Julie; several nieces and nephews and close friends. In keeping with Jeané�a�a��s wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 1st, at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Relatives and friends may meet the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan, 989 Spaulding Ave, SE, Ada, MI 49301.
