Jansma Irving L. Jansma, aged 54, of Marne passed away Thursday Nov 11, 2010. Irv owned and operated Jansma Underground Contractors in Marne. He was an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoyed the fall and hunting season. Surviving are his son Matt and friend Emily; special friend Michael Speigl and family; special friend Chris Ryan; mother Ruth Jansma; sisters and brothers Brenda (Ron) VanDyke, Brian Jansma and Mary, Rick Jansma, Steven (Lynn) Jansma, Michael (Lorri) Jansma, Kim Jansma and Jeff, Lisa (Tom) Sturtevant; nephews and niece Jason and Chad VanDyke, Shawn Jansma, Tyler, Blaine and Shay Sturtevant. Friends may meet the family Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. A Private Family Service will be held.
