Hope Elaine King

Hope Elaine King, age 63, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023. She was born in Holland, MI to the late Cresswell and Arlene (Reus) King. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her half-sister Irene Greaver and half-brother Robert King. Hope loved Jesus and family with all her heart.  She lights up a room with her smile and laughter.  She was the purest and loving person that some of us have ever known. She enjoyed gardening, swimming, and spending time on Facebook. She loved the color purple, and loved animals including raising leader dogs in the past. She will be deeply missed by her siblings, Tracene King, Faith (Bobby) Gibson, David King, Sandra King and Rob Knowles, Charity (Craig) Machiela, Patience May; half-brother, Ken (Marlene) King; sister-in-law, Eleanor King and many nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to extend a thank you to Life Circles in Holland and Faith Hospice in Grand Rapids for their assistance and care for Hope and her family. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. A life Celebration of Life service will be held 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at Restlawn Memorial Gardens Chapel, 994 Paw Paw Dr, Holland, MI 49423.
