Henry Wynsma

Henry Wynsma, age 85, of Grandville, was called home to his Lord Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Henry was born in Grand Rapids to George and Grace (VenLet) Wynsma who preceded him in death. He served in the US Navy and owned and operated Hank Wynsma Excavating Co. Henry is survived by his wife of 67 years Genevieve; children, George (Katherine) Wynsma, Robert (Christine) Wynsma, Diana (Alan) Krupiczewicz; son-in-law Fred Bennink; 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; sister Grace, brother Richard and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his daughter Linda Bennink, son James Wynsma, grandson Wade VanderLind and great granddaughter Megan Wynsma. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday Aug 4, 2014 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville with burial at Rosedale Memorial Park in Standale. Relatives and friends may meet the family Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Tallmadge Community Church.
