Henry Roman Jr., age 89, of Conklin, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014. Henry was born in Chicago IL. to Henry Sr. and Hulda (Russell) Roman who preceded him in death. Henry was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, he loved to spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed farming, hunting and spending time in the outdoors and was a lifetime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Conklin. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, June (Velzke) Roman, son-in-law, Richard Cnossen, granddaughter, Noel Arnold, brother, Reinhart and two sisters, Hattie Patrick and Ella Roman. Henry is survived by his wife of 13 years, Janice; children, Mary Cnossen, Todd Roman, Ryan (Lori) Roman, Ranier (Crystal) Porter and Jean (Thomas) Schwallier; grandchildren, Richard (Kristen) Cnossen Jr., Christopher Cnossen, Emilee Cnossen, Mallory Roman, Morgan Roman, Jason (Valerie) Porter, Zack (Katie) Porter, Luke (Becky) Porter, Rachel (Jason) Lanning, Hannah (Seth) Edenborn, Laura (Ryan) Burke, Andrew Schwallier, Paula (Brett) Lemmen, Stephanie (Cary) Meyers and Kristy (Neil) Ellis; 20 great grandchildren; brother Ralph Roman; sister, Elma Jean Graf; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews and friends. In keeping with Henryé�a�a��s wish cremation has taken place. A memorial service was held Saturday, 11:30 am at Trinity Lutheran Church with Rev. Mark Oswald officiating.
