Heather Joy Gifford (nee Bazen) of Grand Rapids passed away suddenly on January 25, 2019. Heather was born December 7, 1988. She is survived by her daughters, Haley, Natalie, and Lindsy Gifford; children’s father, Eric Gifford; father and stepmother, Daniel and Jodi Bazen; mother and stepfather, Carla and Michael Segaar; sister, Kayla (Gregory Jr.) Van Grouw and their children, Alexa, Jordan, Keirra, Gregory III, Cade and Zane; sister, Sharla Bazen and fiance, Kyle Wilkerson; brother, Destin Bazen and special friend, Sarah Balkema; grandmother, Marjorie Bazen, step-sister, Kelsey and Paul McCollum and their children, Devery and Wyatt; step-brothers, Chase Segaar, Milo Segaar and Lincoln Segaar; several uncles, aunts and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Rev. Peter L. Bazen and Herman and Clazina Spaans. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 1, 2019 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St., Coopersville, MI with Pastor Ken Klett, officiating. Visitation Hours 3-5 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday, January 31, 2019 at the Throop Funeral Home, Coopersville.
