Harold Raterink

Harold James Raterink, aged 88, of Coopersville, went to be with his Lord on Friday, Sept 19, 2014. He was born February 14, 1926 in Grand Rapids to Gilbert and Martha (Kosten) Raterink. He was preceded in death by his parents, great granddaughter, Hannah Raterink; two sister, Virginia Weimer and Mildred (Mel) Barton. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the Antietam. Surviving are his wife of 64 years, Betty; six children, Judi (Steve) Holland, Jim (Cindy) Raterink, Deb (John) Goller, Jerry (Marsha) Raterink, Bruce (Judy) Raterink and Beth (Jeff) Ferguson; 17 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Betty (Lee) Troyer, brother, Earl (Leila) Raterink and brother-in-law Harry Weimer. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, Sept 30, 2014 at the Coopersville Christian Reformed Church, 200 Henry St., Rev. Steve Bussis officiating. Burial Rosedale Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday, Sept 29 from 6 to 8 pm at the Coopersville Christian Reformed Church.
