Hamilton Mcgarey

Hamilton L. McGarey, age 82, of Coopersville, was called home to his Lord Saturday May 11, 2013. Hamilton graduated from Ferris State University with a teaching degree and taught Business classes at Coopersville High School for 31 years. He also had a Tax and Accounting Service. Hamilton enjoyed gardening, wintering in Florida, traveling and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughters Roberta McGarey and Susan Hammer and his grandson Brian Yost. Hamilton is survived by his wife of 58 years Ethel é�a�A"Sallyé�a�� McGarey; daughters Patricia (Mark) Yost, Linda (Daryl) Klynstra; grandchildren, Matthew (Alishia) Klynstra, Joshua (Kathleen) Klynstra, Kim VanderWeert, James (Brooke) Yost, Sarah Yost, Steven (Ashley) Yost, Kevin Yost, Daniel Yost and eight great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 11 am Friday May 17th at the Coopersville United Methodist Church, Rev Cori Cypret officiating. Interment in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids. Visitation will be Thursday from 6 to 9 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorial donations to Coopersville United Methodist Church é�a�A"Pack-it- Up Programé�a�� to provide meals to children from the Coopersville Schools.
