Gretchen Zoerner

Gretchen Tyler Zoerner, aged 84, passed away unexpectedly at her home Thursday, July 4, 2019. She was born in Grand Rapids to the late Grey and Amelia Vogelsang (Tyler). In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Zoerner and brother, Roger Vogelsang. Gretchen was an independent strong willed woman who enjoyed her horses, her farm and raising cattle. She enjoyed spending time at the cottage with family and friends. She was artistic and enjoyed painting nature scenes. Gretchen also was a member of the South Highland Association in Grand Haven. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ty and Pat Zoerner; former daughter-in-law, Laurie Zoerner; special cousin, Robert Cooper; her dedicated neighbor, Steve Westveld and family; close friends, Adam Plank, Laurie DeDecker and Joan Stuecken.
