Grace Wilbur

Grace G. Wilbur, age 86, of Lamont was called home to her Lord and Saviour Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Grace was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Louis and Clara Walma. She married Harry L. Wilbur who preceded her in death in 1989. Grace was a member of the Lamont Christian Reformed Church for over 50 years and retired from Meijer where she worked for 22 years. Grace loved spending time with her family, singing in the choir, traveling, photography and was an avid reader. She is survived by her children David Wilbur, Daniel Wilbur, Deborah (Timothy) Hatfield, Dianne (Doug) Thole, Douglas (Vickie) Wilbur and Denise Porter; 9 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a thank you to Clark Retirement community for the loving care they gave Mom and Emmanuel Hospice for easing her passing. Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm Saturday at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with Rev Ron Meyer officiating. Burial will be at Maplewood cemetery in Lamont. The family will greet relatives and friends from 2 to 4 pm prior to the service.
