Glenndora Moore

Moore Glenndora Moore, aged 89, of Durand MI formerly of Allendale passed away Wednesday Feb 16, 2011 at the Durand Senior Care and Rehab. Center where she resided since 2006. Glenndora has held many jobs including planting and pruning trees, cutting asparagus, working in Standale as a dime store clerk, a census worker, postal clerk in Allendale, MI, worked at Grandma Gé�a�a��s restaurant and was a member of the American Postal Workers Union. She had many hobbies, fund raising bake sales in the 50's for Allendale Christian School, quilting, oil painting, embroidery, gardening and her beautiful iris gardens, and helping others. She was preceded in death by her son G. Monty Moore in 2000, and was the youngest of eleven siblings all of whom preceded her in death. Glenndora is survived by her daughter Rosemary (Arlin) Stap of Bancroft, MI.; daughter-in-law Gloria (Arthur) Lillibridge of Coopersville, MI.; six grandchildren G. Shannon (Linda) Moore, Dale (Kame) Moore, Robert (Sue) Moore, Kelly (Cindy) Moore, Scott (Coleen) Stap, Susan (Alan) Ellsworth; 16 great grandchildren; three great great grandsons; brother-in-law Jerry Moore of FL.; sister-in-law Elsie Montgomery of Sparta, MI and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Monday Feb 21, 2011 at County Line Community Church, 10326 Wilson Ave, Coopersville, MI. Rev Joe Borowicz and Rev Dave DeCook officiating. Burial in Myers Cemetery Sparta, MI. Friends may meet the family Monday one hour prior to the service at Church.
