Gladys Langlois

Gladys Langlois (Downs), age 82, of Nunica, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, Nov. 23, 2017. She was born in Reed City, MI to the late George and Mary (Baynton) Downs. Gladys moved to Muskegon Hts. and then to Nunica where she met and married George Langlois on May 24, 1953. Gladys is survived by her husband of 65 yrs. George; 5 children, Louis (Penny) Langlois, Ron (Sandy) Langlois, Jan (Charlie) Marshall, Doug (Geles) Langlois and Sandie Langlois-Farmer; Son-in-law, Richard Brege; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Donna DeCan-Pranger; stepsister, Pat Meredith and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Brege; one sister and 3 brothers. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM at St Michael’s Catholic Church, 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville with Fr Ayub Nasar celebrant. Interment in St Michael’s cemetery. Visitation Tuesday 10 to 11 am one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of North Ottawa 18525 Woodland Ridge Dr. Spring Lake, MI 49456.
