Gertrude Meerman

Gertrude J. Meerman, age 92, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021. She was born in Denver CO to the late Dirk and Minnie (Termaat) Dykstra. Gertrude loved spending time with her family, faith was an important part of her life and she was a prayer warrior. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 70 years Frank; children, Sharon Meerman, Shirley Meyer, Barb (Rog) Breen, Beverly (Mark) Wilson, Luanne (Jeff) Modderman and Lon Meerman; grandchildren, Jamie Meyer, Joshua (Sara) Breen, Tiffany (Steve) Green, Trenton Breen, Travis Kellogg, Kyle (Amber) Kellogg, Casey Kellogg, Colson (Samantha) Modderman, Tayla (Ethan) Scholma, Noah (Hannah) Modderman, Sarah Modderman, Seth (Emily) Modderman, Tyler (Kristyn) Meerman, Michael Meerman, Megan Meerman; 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Reppert, Janice (Lou) VanTimmeran and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at Eastmanville United Reformed Church, 6845 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev. Jeph Nobel officiating. Burial will take place in Allendale Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday, August 30, 2021 at church, and one hour prior to the funeral service on Tuesday.
