Francis Meerman

Francis Jay Meerman, age 97, went home to be with his Lord and Saviour Saturday, November 5, 2022 at home surrounded by family He was a life-long member of Eastmanville URC Church. He was born in Coopersville, MI. to the late William and Gertrude (Knoper) Meerman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 70 years Gertrude and daughter Shirley Meyer. He will be deeply missed by his children, Sharon Meerman, Barb (Rog) Breen, Beverly (Mark) Wilson, Luanne (Jeff) Modderman and Lon Meerman; grandchildren, Jamie Meyer, Joshua (Sara) Breen, Tiffany Green, Trenton Breen, Travis Kellogg, Kyle (Amber) Kellogg, Casey Kellogg, Colson (Samantha) Modderman, Tayla (Ethan) Scholma, Noah (Hannah) Modderman, Sarah (Jonah) Riteberg, Seth (Emily) Modderman, Tyler (Kristyn) Meerman, Michael Meerman, Megan Meerman; 6 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Janice (Lou) VanTimmeran and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Eastmanville United Reformed Church, 6845 Leonard St, Coopersville, MI 49404 with Rev. Jeph Nobel officiating. Burial will take place in Allendale Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at church, and one hour prior to the funeral service on Thursday.
