Forrest Scott, age 86, of Allendale, was called home to his Lord Saturday, September 7, 2013. Forrest was a graduate of Coopersville High School, served in the US Army during WW II, retired from MichCon Gas Co. after 37 years of service, was head of the Ottawa Co. Sheriffs Reserve Officers for 14 years and a member of the Grand Rapids Antique Car Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores in 2001, son-in-law Mark Langley, grandson Brian Langley, and sister Lola Razzoog. Forrest is survived by his daughters, Penny (Bob) Swanson, and Nancy (Herb) Gwin; son, Steven Scott; grandchildren, Aaron (W.J.) Haight, Cory (Kimberly) Klein, Lori (Roger) Goodrich, Scott Langley and Anthony Rosado, Kasey Swanson and fiancé�© Will Sawyer and Chris Swanson; great grandchildren, Cody Goodrich, Leah Goodrich, Evie Klein, Winnie Klein, Jacek Haight and Vance Haight; nephew Randy (Sue) Razzoog, great niece Hayley Razzoog and special friend Alice Cooke. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday Sept 10th, at St John Lutheran Church, 9628 48th Ave., Jenison, 49428, Rev James Metcalf officiating with burial in the Allendale Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4 to 8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, 49404. Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimeré�a�a��s Assn.
