Mrs Evelyn J. Hamstra, aged 87, of Coopersville was called home to her Lord Wednesday May 4, 2011. She was born Jan 4, 1924 in Wyoming, MI. to Glenn and Katherine (Timmers) Taylor. Evelyn is survived by her husband Ernest; son's Carl Hamstra, Gary (Carla) Hamstra, Rolland Hamstra, Glen (Lisa) Hamstra; 9 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday 1:00 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville. Burial will be in Georgetown Twp. Cemetery, Hudsonville, MI. Visitation will be Sunday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorials may be made to Hospice of N. Ottawa or Amazing Facts.
