Eunice Krey

Eunice H. Krey, age 88, of Conklin, born on November 4, 1927, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2016 at home. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Addie, son Brian, grandson Justin, brothers Willis and Laurence, sister-in-law Virginia Meyer, and best friends Ione Schaefer and Marian Stiles. Eunice leaves behind her children, Judith (Dwight) Sheridan, Charles (Patricia), Vincent, Robert (Kimberly), Colleen (Brian) Fitch; sister, Burnyce Gilde; her beloved grandchildren, Adam (Kathlene) Sheridan, Benjamin (Sarah) Sheridan, Nathan (Megan) Sheridan, Jeremy (Holly) Krey, Jason (Emily) Krey, Aaron Krey, and Jennifer Krey; step-grandsons, Jordan and Trevor Fitch; 12 great-grandchildren, and many beloved nephews, nieces, and friends. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Eunice was active and involved in many church functions, Michigan State Cooperative Extension, and numerous other community activities throughout her life. Special thanks to Spectrum In-Home Health and Hospice Care staff, to dear friends Larry and Diane Lemmen, Mike and Linda Adams, her neighbors Bill and Nancy DeBoer, and Pastor and Rita Oswald. Visitation at Trinity Lutheran Church Family Life Center Thursday, August 25, from 2-4 and 6-8. Funeral Service Friday, August 26, 11:00 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, followed by Christian burial in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery with Rev Mark Oswald officiating.
