Mr Eugene DeVos aged 68, of Coopersville passed away at his home Tuesday April 12, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born August 11, 1942 in Grand Rapids MI to Harry and Johanna (Stroven) DeVos who preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by an infant son, infant grandson, and brother Howard DeVos. Eugene is survived by his wife of 48 years Mary; children Robert DeVos, Jan (John) Lastocy, Michael (Julie) DeVos, Curt (Suzanne) DeVos; 18 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sisters Velma Nanninga, Joyce Zokoe, Iola Zoodsma and many nieces and nephews. In keeping with Eugene's wish cremation has taken place. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering 1:00 pm Saturday, April 16, 2011 at the Coopersville VFW Post # 5598, 511 N. 68th Ave, Coopersville, MI 49404.
