Emma May Abma

Emma May Abma, age 95, of Marne, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Isaac and Jessie (Vander Muelen) Heemstra. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Martin Abma in 2005; sister, Evelyn (Willard) Watson; brother, Charles (Bessie) Heemstra and sister-in-law, Barb Abma. She will be deeply missed by her children, Daniel Abma, Sue (Daniel) Zimmer, David Abma and John (Traci) Abma; granddaughters, Jessie, Cassandra, Sarah, Emily Abma and Annie Owen; sisters, Josephine Fenske; brother-in-law, John Abma and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may meet the family Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404.
