Emery Ripka

Mr Emery F. Ripka, age 90, of Coopersville, left this life to begin a new journey Wednesday, March 6, 2013. Emery was born March 18, 1922 in Muskegon Heights MI, to Emery and Eva (Kadlecik) Ripka. He served in the US Navy during WW II, retired from Leigh Products of Coopersville after 35 years of service and worked for Gavin Orchards after his retirement. Emery enjoyed traveling; he traveled throughout the United States and to many countries throughout the world. He also loved to dance and attended many of the dances held at the K of C Hall in Conklin. He will be deeply missed by his daughter and son-in-law, Paulette and Paul Unger; grandchildren, Paul and Amanda Unger, Shelley and Scott Jourden; great grandchildren, Allie, Kaitlyn and Brenna Unger, Erica, and Jessica Jourden; sister, Anna Vander Jagt; brother, George Ripka and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with Emeryé�a�a��s wish burial has taken place at Ravenna Twp. Cemetery. A private family service will be held at the gravesite in the spring.
