Elizabeth Vladika

Elizabeth H. (Lanning) Vladika, age 71, of Coopersville, passed away suddenly Friday, October 16, 2020 at her home. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Nicholas and Lenore (Nykamp) Lanning. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her granddaughter Adrianna Walcott, brother Richard Lanning, brother-in-law Clarence “Danny” Vladika and sister-in-law Alice Hiesman. Elizabeth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, loved her cats, feeding and watching the birds, reading and her flower garden. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Charles Vladika; children, Christina Vladika, Elizabeth Geivett, Charles (Mindi) Vladika II; 7 grandchildren, Brandon, Luis, Alexandria, Nicholas, Samantha, Matthew and Ayden; great grandson Oakley; brother, Nicholas E. (Sharon) Lanning; sister, Mary (Charles) Polonowski; sisters-in-law, Donna Walcott and Charlene Modak; brother-in-law, Gary Vladika; several nieces and nephews.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Friday October 23, 2020 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404 with burial in the Nunica Cemetery.  Relatives and friends may meet the family 4 – 7 P.M.
