Mrs. Edna Schumaker aged 92, of Coopersville, was called to her Heavenly home, Wednesday, January, 5, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Carroll, grandson Jamie Thomas, great granddaughter, Natalie Dipzinski and her sisters Mickie Patterson, Donna Robinson and Ginny Ferguson.. Edna was a bus driver for over 20 years with Coopersville Public Schools. She was very active at St. Michaels church, she loved playing bingo. Edna’s children and grandchildren were the love of her life. She is survived by her children, Carolyn (Jeff) Johnson, Larry Schumaker, Valerie (Mark) Patterson, Denise (John) Anderson and Kevin (Niki) Schumaker; 14 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, January 10, 2022, 11am at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 17150 88th Ave., Coopersville, MI, Fr Dan Schumaker (grandson), Celebrant and Fr. Ayub Francis Nasar (pastor), Con-celebrant. Burial St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Friends and relatives may meet the family Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 2-5pm at the Throop Funeral home, 214 Church St., Coopersville, MI with the Rosary Service at 5pm and also 1 hour prior to Mass at the church on Monday.
