Edmund Louis Armock, age 89, of Conklin, passed away at his home Sunday, February 23, 2020. Ed was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Barton and Elizabeth (Rasch) Armock. He served in the U.S. Army and was a Life Member of the Marne American Legion. Ed was a lifelong area farmer and member of St Joseph Church in Wright. The family wishes to extend a thank you to hospice nurse Pam for the care she gave to Ed and the family. Ed is survived by his wife of 55 yrs., June (Krupp) Armock; children, Charles (Jill) Armock, Mary Kay Sherman, Louis (Connie) Armock and Joseph (Amy) Armock; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Leonard (Marianne) Armock; sisters, Agatha Kluting, Dorothy Meyers, Bertha Schoenborn, Arlene Armock; sisters-in-law, Erma Armock, Vivian Armock and Mary Ellen Courtade; many nieces and nephews; In addition to his parents Ed was also preceded in death by an infant brother Vincent and brothers Harold, Ray and Jim. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Friday, Feb 28, 2020 at St Joseph Church in Wight with Fr Phil Shangraw celebrant. Interment will be in St Joseph cemetery in Wright. Visitation will be held Thursday 4-7 PM at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with the Rosary Thursday evening at 7 PM and Friday 10-11 AM one hour prior to the service at Church. Memorial donations may be made to St Joseph Church Building Fund, Lori’s Voice or Spectrum Health Hospice. An online guestbook may be signed at www.throopfh.com
