Earl Bennett

Earl A. Bennett, age 82, passed away July 29, 2015 with family at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Grace (Johnston) Bennett, 3 brothers Roland, Robert and Jack and 3 sisters, Dorothy, Neva and Sonya. Earl enjoyed spending time with family and friends sharing jokes and laughter. He enjoyed wintering in Florida and competing with friends at Shuffleboard competitions. Earl also was very handy and enjoyed spending time working on projects around his home and doing woodworking. He attended Jibson Baptist Church and County Line Community Church. Earl is survived by his wife of 43 years, Virginia; children, Carl and Tara Bennett, Earl Jr and Gayle Bennett, Derek Markle, Lynn Luna, Jackie and mark Kramer, Kathy Smith and Eric and Melissa Bennett;15 grandchildren, Nathan, Bobby, Michelle, Paul, Jamie, Ashley, Aaron, Nick, John, Jazmine, Mark, Trent, Rachel, Tiffany and Nate; 5 great grandchildren, Matthew, Austen, Emmett, Hayden and Madelynn along with many in-laws and nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 4, 2015 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville. Burial will take place in the Lamont Maplewood Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family 6 to 8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
