Dorothy Schaefer

Dorothy J. Schaefer, age 95, went to her heavenly home on Monday, April 15, 2015. A quiet and caring women Dorothy lived for many years in the village of Conklin. She was preceded in death by her parents Orman and Ida (Myers) Mudd, husbands Evert Peterson and Herbert Schaefer, Daughter Josephine é�a�A"Joé�a�� Kelly, grandson Kenneth Kelly and her two sisters Josephine Rhoads and Martha Webster. Dorothy and her first husband Evert owned and operated the IGA Grocery Store in Conklin of many years and she also worked in Conklin as a Bank Teller. She is survived by her son-in-law Raymond Kelly; grandson William Kelly Sr.; two great grandsons William Kelly Jr., and Ryan Kelly and a nephew Richard Webster. In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place. Interment services will be held 6:00 pm Monday April 20, 2015 at McNitt Cemetery.
