Dorothy Metzler

Dorothy Emma Mable Metzler (Hintz), age 98, of Grand Haven, MI., was called home to Heaven Friday, April 29, 2016. She was born in Coopersville, MI to the late John and Ethel (Mars) Hintz. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Herman Metzler, daughter and son-in-law Faron and Lewis Dorman, 2 brothers, 5 sisters and one step brother. She was happiest having her family and friends gathered together and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Dorothy enjoyed fishing, hunting, traveling, playing bingo, car races and garage saling. She is survived by her granddaughters, Theresa (Bruce) Samdal, Tina (Chris) Morsley, Terri Dorman and Tammy (Ray) Anderson; 7 great grandchildren; 21 great great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Brifling, Esther Rogers and many nieces and nephews. A Life Celebration Service will be held Thursday, 11:00 am at St Paulé�a�a��s United Church of Christ, 1401 S Griffin St, Grand Haven, MI 49417. Interment Lake Forest Cemetery, Grand Haven, MI. Visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Memorial donations may be made to St Paulé�a�a��s United Church of Christ or Hospice of North Ottawa.
