Dorothy Danenberg

Dorothy Elouise Danenberg, age 87, of Allendale, passed away at her home Thursday, November 26, 2020. She was born in Knightstown, IN., to the late Edward and Dorothy (DeWitt) Gorman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Francis “Buck” Danenberg on Jan. 27, 2020, her sons Allen Mays, Miller “Jr.” Mays and Arnold Mays and granddaughter April Mays. Dorothy was all about family, she loved to spending time with her family and her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She enjoyed the peacefulness of country living, feeding the birds and watching the hummingbirds at the feeders. Dorothy will be deeply missed by her children, Verna (Ray) Franco, Dale Mays, John (Debra) Mays, Danny (Reta) Mays, Kalvin Mays and Penny (James) Young; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Dona Zack and Winifred Danenberg as well as many nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held 4:00 P.M. Friday, December 4, 2020 at St Michael’s Catholic Cemetery, 17150 88th Ave, Coopersville, MI with Fr Ayub Francis Naser officiating.
