Donna Portenga

Donna Harriet (Conran) Portenga, age 89, of Ravenna, passed away Friday, August 26, 2022 peacefully with her children by her side at the Tibbet Elder Care Home in Ravenna. Donna was born in Slocum MI, to the late Arnim and Emma (Maycroft) Conran. She owned and operated Donna’s Catering in Ravenna for many years. Donna catered many weddings and events for multiple generations of friends and clients in the Ravenna and surrounding area. In addition to her parents Donna was also preceded in death by her son Kevin Stuthard, stepdaughters, Linda Stuthard and Janice Cardinal, brother and sister-in-law Lyle and Barb Conran. Donna is survived by her children, Tim (Sharon) Stuthard, Thomas (Sharon) Stuthard, Susan (Don) Nanninga, and Shelley (Michael) Slape; 12 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brother Kenneth (Doris) Conran and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 29, 2022 at the Ravenna United Methodist Church with Rev. John Romanowski officiating. Private Family Interment will be in the Ravenna Twp. Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Monday from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. two hours prior to the service at church.
