Donald Busfield

Donald Arthur Busfield, age 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away Thursday, January 21, 2021 with family by his side. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI to the late Paul and Wilhelmina (Schadenberg) Busfield. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister, Phyllis Monschein. Don worked as a supervisor at Auto Die in Grand Rapids, MI until his retirement in 1999 and was a member of Bauer Community Fellowship Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, building and fabricating. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 67 years, Marian (Engelsman) Busfield; children, Connie (Charles) Bellinger, Linda (Jim) Wiersema, Donald R. (Sandra) Busfield and Beth (Jeff) Kruizenga; grandchildren, Dan (Stephanie) Bellinger, Brent (Erin) Bellinger, Crystal (Nick) Pruett, Randy Cook, Debra (Rob) Strawser, Scott (Lisa) Busfield, Amy Busfield, Becca (Andy) Wright, Dusty (Rebecca) Kruizenga and Derek (Taleana) Kruizenga; 18 great grandchildren; brother, Raymond (Janet) Busfield; sister, Joyce (Duane) Keller; brother-in-law, Dale (Loretta) Engelsman and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services Saturday, January 23, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Bauer Community Fellowship Church, 4852 Bauer Rd, Hudsonville, MI 49426 with Rev. Victor Wilson and Rev. Robert Whinnen officiating. Burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Grand Rapids, MI. Visitation Saturday, Jan. 23rd one hour prior to the service at church.
