Dolores Dekiep

Dolores Jean DeKiep, age 88, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 21, 2022. She was born in Grand Haven, MI to the late Hayden and Ellis (Diephouse) Young. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Roger, her son William, and brother Raymond. Dolores loved spending time with family, especially her great grandchildren who brought her so much joy. Over the years, she enjoyed raising Border Collies with her husband and taking care of her beautiful gardens. She was a wonderful seamstress and enjoyed canning fruits and vegetables. Dolores was an exceptional wife and mother and she will be deeply missed by her children, Edward (Mary) DeKiep and Lori (Bing) Homik; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; siblings, Judy Zant and Phyllis (Dean) Fletcher. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held. Burial will take place in Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery.
