Dixie Bulson

Dixie Rae Bulson (Hastings), age 85 or Coopersville, passed away Thursday, January 6, 2022. She was born August 23, 1936 in Coopersville, MI to the late Morris Hastings and Norma (Hastings) Woods. She was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Bulson; brother, Clyde Hastings; son, Matthew Crouse; daughter, Sarah Crouse. She is survived by her sister, Peggy Erhorn; her sons, Timothy Crouse, Theodore Crouse, William Crouse Jr; her daughters, Laura (James) Wright, Sharon (Donald) Hill, Cathy Crouse, Kimberly (Scott) Simcox; 20 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. Dixie enjoyed making birthday cakes for all of her grandchildren. She attended Muskegon Community College for LPN nursing. She enjoyed attending church at Grace Lutheran in Coopersville and attending Bible Study. Dixie also corrected Bible lessons for Crossroad Bible Institute of Grandville for 13 years. She also helped with day camp at Lake Community Bible Church while living south of Baldwin. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11am at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 E. Cleveland St., Coopersville, MI, Rev. Joel Hoyer officiating. Burial Nunica Cemetery. Visitation Wed., January 12, from 9:30am-11am prior to the service at church.
