Diane Marie (Otterbein) Titus, age 64, of Coopersville, passed into Jesus loving arms on Friday, November 22, 2019, after a courageous 2 year battle with cancer. She is now pain free. Diane was born in Grand Rapids, June 16, 1955 to Harvey and Donna (Morgan) Otterbein. She was preceded in death by her father Harvey Otterbein and mother-in-law VaDeene Titus. Diane will be deeply missed by her husband, Mark, her children, Neil Titus, Brian (Carrie) Titus and Becky (Kurt) VanVelzen and by her beloved grandchildren, Kyri, Romi and Kalen Titus, Travis, Kaitlyn, Ethan and Bryce VanVelzen, who all adored her. Diane is also survived by her mother, Donna Otterbein; sisters Marcia (Mike) Lowing and Julie Morris; brothers, Doug (Carol) Otterbein, Tom (Cindy) Otterbein and John (Gina) Otterbein; father-in-law Lloyd Titus; sisters-in-law Linda Titus and Laura (Masaru) Nishijima; brother-in-law, Harold Titus and many nieces and nephews. Diane a longtime resident of Coopersville graduated from Coopersville High School in 1973. She met Mark in 1971 and they were married on April 22, 1972 and enjoyed 47 wonderful years together. Diane worked at Coopersville Public Schools in the food service program for 32 years and enjoyed seeing the kids at lunch every day and greeted them with her loving smile. She was a selfless woman who always put others first and was known for her contagious laugh and great sense of humor. Diane enjoyed watching her grandkids sporting events and activities, going to her family’s cabin in Vanderbilt, hanging out with her “partner in crime” Pat Langlois and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who she loved and cherished. Diane was an amazing mother, wife, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt and friend and was loved by many. She will be deeply missed and remembered for her kindness. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 11:00 AM at Grace Lutheran Church, 300 E. Cleveland St, Coopersville with Rev Joel Hoyer officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville.
