Dennis Leussenkamp

Dennis James Leussenkamp, age 62, of Coopersville, passed away unexpectedly at his home Saturday, January 23, 2021. He was born in Grand Rapids, MI., to the late Garrett and Marie (Valk) Leussenkamp and worked at Jimdi Plastics in Allendale. Dennis loved spending time with his family, caring for his grandchildren and great grandchildren and watching and helping them grow. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 40 yrs., Jean (Hofmann) Leussenkamp; daughter, Amanda “Mandy” Leussenkamp; 3 grandchildren, Adrianna Broere, Marshall Broere and Levi Broere; great grandchildren, Pearly Broere-Good and Athena Broere; siblings, Karen (Dennis) VanderMeer, Martin (Young Suk) Leussenkamp, Gary Leussenkamp and Sandra Lenger, Timothy Leussenkamp and Tracy Rozela, Daniel Leussenkamp and Joy Leussenkamp; brother-in-law, Jerry Hofmann; many nieces and nephews. Due to Covid restrictions seating will be limited at the service and Masks and Social Distancing are required. Funeral Service will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday Jan. 30, 2021 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville with Rev. Cori Conran officiating. Burial will be in the Coopersville-Polkton Twp. Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home 12:00 noon to 1:00 P.M. Saturday, Jan 30, 2021 one hour prior to the service.
