Dennis Clelland

Dennis J. Clelland, age 65, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021. He was born in Detroit, MI to the late George R. and Margaret (Denson) Clelland. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother George “Bobby” Clelland and brother-in-law Joe Brookhouse. Dennis was raised in Conklin, MI and graduate of Coopersville High School in 1974. Worked and retired from Heath Manufacturing after 43 years, was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, liked spending time at the family camper in New Era, MI, enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling. Dennis loved to spend time with his family, grandchildren and his grand-dogs. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 41 years Karen (Skelonc) Clelland; children, Sara (Tyler) Krutel, Randy (Stephanie) Clelland; grandchildren, Carmyn Clelland, Wayne Clelland and Brayden Krutel; siblings, John (Sally) Clelland, David (Deb) Clelland, Robin (Joe) Brookhouse Branham and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Throop Funeral home, 214 Church St. Coopersville, MI 49404, with Joyce Kerr officiating. Burial will take place in Rosedale Memorial Park. Relative and friends may meet the family 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. Thursday, September 23, 2021 at the Throop Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service.
