Delores (Polly) Mulder was born August 4, 1929 to John and Mabel (Headley) Frost in Grand Haven, MI. She passed away March 14, 2021 after a long struggle with Alzheimer’s. She grew up in Nunica and attended Coopersville Schools. She married Glenn Mulder who passed away on March 14, 1988. They had two sons Jeff (Mary) Mulder and Doug (Joni) Mulder. Delores also had many nieces and nephews that she enjoyed spending time with. Glenn and Delores built a home on Cleveland Street in Coopersville in 1957 where Delores resided for 62 years. She was employed and retired from Grand Valley State University, working many years in the Financial Aid office. A job she enjoyed and where she made many long term friendships. Polly enjoyed her family, bowling, and shopping with friends. She was also known for her baking - making many much-loved desserts. She is preceded in death by husband Glenn Mulder, parents Mabel and John Frost, brothers Melvin (Ruth) Frost, Lloyd (Kay) Frost, John (Janne) Frost, brother-in-laws Ted (Wilma) Mulder and Jim (Ann) Mulder, and sister-in-law Lucille Mulder. A special note of thanks to the staff at Fountain View Assisted Living for keeping Delores safe and comfortable during her last two years of life. And thanks also to Faith Hospice for their assistance in her final days. Caring for loved ones can be a difficult task so Delores’s family is very thankful to have had assistance from Four Pointes Center for Successful Aging in Grand Haven and Senior Resources in Muskegon. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Delores’s memory to Fountain View Assisted Living, 640 W. Randall St., Coopersville, MI 49404.
