Delmar Gura

Delmar Lee June Gura. Age 83, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018. Delmar was born in Grand Rapids MI to the late Frank and Edith (Eggimann) Gura. Delmar retired from Consumers Power in Grand Rapids where he worked for over 35years. He enjoyed working in his yard, was an avid sports fan, spending time with family and friends and loved attending his grandchildren’s  sports events. Delmar will be deeply missed by his wife, Carol; daughter, Kim and Bill Busman; son, Keith and Karen Gura; 6 grandchildren, Stacey (Ryan) Long, Laura (Bre) Brendsel, Jeremy (Shelby) Busman, Kaylee Ward, Kyle Gura and Kameron Gura; 5 great grandchildren, Autumn Long, Ezekiel Long, Vivian Long, Haven Busman and Allileah Ward; sister, Bonnie Schmidt; niece, Kristi (Paul) Paxson; nephew, Kenny (Julie) Schmidt; great nephews, Kory Schmidt and Klinton Schmidt. Cremation has taken place a Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held 12:30 P.M. Saturday Nov. 24, 2018 at the Throop Funeral Home, 214 Church St, Coopersville, MI 49404. Relatives and friends may greet the family Saturday 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home in Coopersville. Memorial donations may be made to the Coopersville Athletic Dept.
