David Vandermolen

David L. VanderMolen, age 74, of Coopersville, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, April 12, 2016. He was preceded in death by his parents Russell and Harriett (Fisher) VanderMolen. David worked 32 years for the CSX railroad as a conductor/brakeman out of the Muskegon and Grand Rapids train yards. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia; children, Lisa Fox, Thomas VanderMolen, Steven (Barbara) Vetter, Kirk (Melissa) VanderMolen, Jeffery Vetter and Kelly Rogers, Joseph VanderMolen, Molly VanderMolen and Marion Anderson; grandchildren, Dan, Joel, Steven Jr., Jennifer, Jessica, Marcus, Nicholas, Lindsey, Kyle, Kristen, Jonathan, Lindsey, Shelby, Nicole, Nicholas, Samuel, Alexander, Randy, Ryan, Mackenzie and Dairia; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Paul (Jeannie) VanderMolen; sister, Sandra (Al) Pearson; and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends may greet the family Friday 5-7 pm at the Throop Funeral Home in Coopersville with a Life Celebration service at 7 pm.
